Spooky Scary Skeleton
Unison Studios hopes everyone enjoyed a Spooktacular Halloween! Our Fall Recital was less spooky and more fall-y as all our students performed their absolute best! There are plenty of exciting developments to present to everyone in the Unison family, but first, we’ll have to give a bittersweet goodbye.
Heartfelt Farewell
November 8th, 2023 will be our Guitar Instructor, Santiago Moreno, last day. Mr. Moreno will be leaving due to a personal family matter, and will be gone for the foreseeable future. I personally want to thank Mr. Moreno for his invaluable contributions since his start in June. All of us at Unison Studios are thankful for your time with us and wish you the best. We will pray for your family’s health and well-being. You are always welcome to come back. Take care, and God bless.
New Additions
Stepping in to take over his Guitar Students, is our brand new instructor: Adora Xannifer Ysaguirre! A Boerne native, Adora is a multi-instrumentalist with skills in Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Drums, Saxophone, and Clarinet! She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from UTSA in 2018, and after earning her state certification, went on to teach at various schools in the San Antonio area for the past 5 years. Ms. Ysaguirre is one of two instructors slated to start in January, but she was able to step right in. Unison Studios is lucky to have such an excellent instructor joining us. Welcome!
Holiday Schedule Changes
November’s welcoming chilly weather also means Thanksgiving is right around the bend. It is safe to say everyone will be a bit preoccupied on that glorious, gluttonous Thursday. So for November 23rd, there will be no lessons. The canceled lessons will be made up on the following Thursday, November 30th.
For December, Unison Studios plans to have no lessons on Christmas Day. However, depending on the amount of clients departing for the holiday, the entire week may be off as a result. Please notify Unison Studios if there are plans to leave for Christmas so we can act accordingly. Thank you!

Christmas Recital and Award Ceremony
Merry Notes & Merits is our final recital of the year and an award ceremony! Recognition for all our students’ hard work, and possibly a ”class clown” or two. It will be held at Dog and Pony on December 16 at Noon. The venue provides enough seating for our studio many times over. We encourage everyone to bring as many family and friends as you like! Unison will need a headcount by December 2nd. Please give a rough estimate on how many will be attending before then. The performance is primarily for those who were not able to participate in the Fall Recital, but there are already students practicing hard to perform again. Exciting announcements, introducing new instructors, and more will be had. We hope to see you there!
