William Bryant Bedwell, M.M. received his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from William Carey University in 2013 and 2015, respectively, majoring in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education, with a minor in Psychology in undergraduate, with emphases in Music Education and Performance in graduate studies. As a Horn student of Dennis Behm, D.M.A., Patrick Richards, D.M.A., Wes Dykes, Ph.D., and Wes Cameron M.M., at The University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey University. Mr. Bedwell has performed alongside conductors such as Doc Severinsen, David Holsinger, Luigi Zanninelli, and Howard Keever.

Successful experiences with a plethora of school districts have led to many performing arts accolades and caveats. Other areas of accomplishment include instruction whereby students have excelled instrumentally, vocally, and academically on the national stage. Accolades include state instrumental ensemble sweepstakes, competitive marching parade best in show performances, and authentic New Orleans style jazz ensemble dinners. Mr. Bedwell continues to compose original musical works, research music methodologies, and write papers on the many aspects of the performing arts. As a working professional musician, Mr. Bedwell continues to perform with instrumental and vocal ensembles nationwide, with particular emphasis in the areas of the Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassicism, Jazz, Rock, and Electronic music avenues. Mr. Bedwell remains current with pedagogical trends on the local, state, and global levels, through active engagement in a multiplicity of organizations, like the National Association of Music Education (NAfME), American Choral Director’s Association, Bandmaster’s Associations, and military associations. Other faith-led performing organizations have included such affiliations such as the Minister of Music of Dixie United Methodist Church, Rawls Springs Baptist Church, Bogue Chitto Baptist Church, Hornist for the Mississippi Baptist Symphony Orchestra, Hattiesburg Civic Orchestra, Covington First Baptist Church Orchestra, and Alamogordo Music Theater.
