Dara's musical journey began at age 6 when she started Violin which led her to pursue studies at a young age playing professionally at the age of 13 performing at the Hollywood Bowl. She received her undergraduate degree from The Juilliard School, where she studied under renowned violist Karen Tuttle. She later earned a Master's in Performance and Performance Studies from NYU.

Jeanann allows students to build a path for playing to allow for fun and freedom while making music.
